It Takes a Village to Blog

Thanks to everyone who has helped me jump into blogger's world! It's been fun to get responses from yesterday's feeble launch. Several people have tried to comment but couldn't get their messages published. Jumping off into Etherspace

Hi All!
This is a very tentative venture into the bloggers' world. I'm interested in staying connected with friends and others who share my interests through blogging. I'm newly retired and have many still working friends so am thinking that this would be a perfect way to "reach out and touch others"--at their convenience. I see my blog as a vehicle for discussing the shallow and important things of daily life--sharing what currently excites or concerns me--hoping to get feedback from friends and strangers.
