Camilla Lackberg adds this perspective in The Ice Princess, set in Fjallbacka, a once thriving fishing village in northern Sweden since the 1800s. Now the town is a favorite tourist destination and Lackberg's hometown.

Ooh, this one sounds like my cup of tea. Love books set in Sweden (grandparents came from there!), and a feminine voice is a nice change from the other trilogy.

I've not read any of the Steig Larson trilogy and have only watched Wallander on tv (Kenneth Brannagh version) and loved it.
