Chasing Sunrise

At 6:30a on this Monday morning a cold rain is falling.  What a difference a day makes.  Yesterday morning the sky was ablaze when I took Chet out.  It was so exciting that I grabbed my camera and hopped in the car to get to higher ground where the view would be better--in my jim jams!  This was the 15 min. light show that I captured:

Small detail-gas tank was on "E". . .based on my state of undress, this sun chaser was glad she didn't need to walk to the gas station carrying an emergency gas can. :-)  Do you have similar photography stories?

That sunrise is definitely worth getting up for!! I think that front is moving our way. Supposed to rain tomorrow. Thankful you didn't run out of gasoline! Although isn't is normal these days for folks to go out in their jammie pants and slippers? I see them in Walmart all the time! lol
