Canadians - of the geese variety, that is. This handsome couple enjoys the recreation area for my sister's senior citizen's community. The residents like having them around because they are so calm and friendly.
A few more shots of them variously occupied:
And finally, for just a little fun:
A white chin strap, cute goose butt, making goosey eyes, prefer neck or wing?

really cute. wish we'd have some stop here!
Nice shots! Geese tend to be far more tolerant than swans. We have a lot of Canadians around here, too.
Great shots - I love the geese - we have some near our house too.
Great photos. Those Geese have very pretty markings.
Nice shots!
Great shots, such a handsome bird too.
These fine feathered critters mate for life, too. Did you know that?
Great photos!

Beautiful bird. They look very majestic.
they sure look grand Faye
Great shots, Faye! They are nice to have around for the community to enjoy.
Lovely photos. We have them in Norway too!
Great shots! :)
I just adore geese, they are solo .. . monogamous.
They always walk around like they own the place don't they. :)
Love the first shot!
They seem to be loving that beautiful green grass.
I love photographing geese. But the ones around here (and there are many) can get a little aggressive if you get too close, especially this time of year with their young un's close by. Great pics Faye!
These are good looking birds - but back in the UK they are a real pest - too much goose poo!

PS: video may be a step too far at present - I'm still working out what have the buttons on my camera are for!!
I like the canadian goose. Once I was kayaking traight through a flock of them. It was fun to how they moved aside to let me pass. :)
Gotta love those Canadians. :))
