Just after Christmas we got our first significant snowfall of the winter. How significant you can tell from how much is on the fence and viburnum branches.
And here's a longer view of the backyard. This was Chet's first snow. Later this week I'll share some photos of him enjoying this novel stuff.

Very pretty Faye...love the fence shot!
Beautiful snow shots, Faye. It will be fun to see Chet enjoying it.
really nice.
Snow has always been alien to me, much as i don't want to live with it, i love seeing beautiful shots around the blog world. I posted some warm colors to assuage some of their greyness and cold!
I'm feeling left out. No snow here. Rained today --
Sky was clear last week, and everything froze.
There is a white covering on the Blue Mountains though. I can be happy with that.
You had a very beautiful snowfall. We're still waiting for our first snow of the year.
Gorgeous shots! It was snowing here today too, but it was wet.
