Wild Bird Wednesday - Robins, Cardinals and Dogwoods

This past week we're into "dogwood" winter -- cool days and nights, some rainy days, and dogwoods in full bloom.  Took these two photos of a robin and female cardinal in the tree in my front yard.  They look good together, don't you think?

Wonderful - see how different your robin is to mine!

Most of the pictures I posted were taken with 100m of the parked car, and the wren was in the car park! But we also saw a lot of other birds just working around the edge of the car park! Its actually well known the "edges" of habitats can be very divers places, so a car park in a forest is a good place to be!

Cheers and thanks for linking to WBW

The cardinal and robin look lovely among the dogwood blooms. Our dogwoods are just budding out. I think everything is late this spring.
