Beargrass Creek branches through Cherokee and Seneca Parks in Louisville, Kentucky. Throughout the parks are several stone bridges designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, the father of landscape architecture, when he laid out our parks system in the late 1800s.

These are marvelous photos of the creek. I like the name of this creek as well.
The Russian shots were so beautiful, but these are too, in a different way. You have me hankering for Catherine the Great's Palace! :-) Anyway, I am so glad you shared the Russian photos, but love the ones of home!
